Little Buckaroo - 8 and under (Dry only)
Youth- 9-11 (Dry only)
Junior - 12-15 (Dry & Box)
Senior - 16 -18 (Dry & Box)

Here is here successful campaign statement:

Leadership and organization are two of my most dominant traits and are important skills of any secretary. I think I would be a good secretary because I have experience as secretary of our school’s math club and was the treasurer of the 4-H club, Cooking and Sewing Bugs. I enjoy being involved in the cow-horse community as well as showing in it.

I also want to become the secretary because it would be a good experience for college applications and future job opportunities. This responsibility would also expand my travel with possible meetings in Reno and Texas. It may lead to making new friends who are interested, much like me, in working with horses.

I believe that if you want to make a difference, you should work hard to change something for the better. So, I am running to make National Reined Cow Horse Youth Association a better club than ever before. I am a very responsible and trustworthy person to handle taking minutes, tracking new/old business, and writing updates on what our meetings entailed. I would like to learn how a big club like the National Reined Cow Horse Youth Association operates.

I would like to have the honor and responsibility of being secretary of the NRCHYA. So, by this short essay I hope to win you over into wanting the same thing.
