Well, the show schedule is set, all of the committee Chairpersons are in place, and quite a lot of work has already begun for 2010.  I am excited and anxious for spring and the 2010 show season to begin.

GSSHA will put on a clinic the latter part of April.  Look in Horse Sports for details.  As usual, Sandy Lange is planning a fun 2 days so if you want in, don’t wait too long to register.  Contact Sandy @ 459-8819.  Also, if you are a youth competitor don’t forget to enter the annual Youth Essay Contest.  Contact Bill Doramus for more information.  If you are a Senior Youth exhibitor and interested in the GSSHA Scholarship, contact Pam Myers for details of how to apply and deadline information.

I want to thank each and every Board member for the exceptional job and amount of time they commit to the GSSHA.  Not to mention their never ending sense of humor!

It’s that time of year to start thinking about getting yourself and your horse ready for the show pen.  We have several members that are professional horse trainers if you or your horse need some assistance or maybe just a tune up.  I would encourage you to contact any of them.
